2025 Division Structure - Proposed Change

The proposed change is to switch from age-based divisions to grade-based divisions. The goal of Grand Valley Youth Football is to create competitive divisions while ensuring a safe and positive playing environment for every player. We also strive to limit the numbers of players playing outside their home boundary as much as possible.

Please review the impacts on each team the change would have for last fall and the projected roster sizes for the upcoming fall season before providing your feedback.

Current Divisions: 8U (Non-Competitive), 10U, 12U, and 14U. Divisions based on player's age on 7/31/2025.

Proposed Divisions: 3rd/4th Grade (Non-Competitive), 5th/6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade. Divisions based on player's grade during Fall 2025 semester.
